Hi, Did get me an OD-1 yesterday, Is it tru that they stopped the production line in 85? because my OD-1 is from 87. If i shuld belive the serial, it is 808525. Bossarea and the Boss Book say`s 85. what is correct?
The unit with serial number 808525 was produced July 1987.
The dates given by Boss tell us when they started and ended marketing for the different pedals. This doesn't always reflect the production years (it doesn't always reflect the marketing period either as the OD-1 is in the 1988-1989 catalogue). The OD-1 was produced at least up until mid 1988. Serial number 922948 is the latest I've seen.
