I've been using really thin picks for a number of years. Dunlop .46 nylons, though I did go on a brief stint of Fender "mediums" because for some reason, I couldn't find any of the darn thin ones.
I have no idea what style of playing the .46s are "designed" for, but I've found them to be the most comfortable.
