Went looking for some more info on the senior...seems these bad boys have gone on the missing list..... no one seems to have them for sale....?.... the blackheart BH 15 also seems to have gone M.I.A... casualties of the credit crunch....? would be a pity as both look very interesting amps but even china with their low cost manufacturing base are feeling the pinch now.....and the biggest bummer is that they were quoting prices like 195 in the U.K. for the senior and with the exchange rate the way it is it would be near enough the same in Euro..well in the ballpark for talking Mrs F around...... i like the senior 'cause it uses 6V6's instead of EL84's....(i have two amps using 84's already)..i could easily see two of these behind me on a couple of homemade 1x12's running stereo on smaller gigs....... |

http://www.thomann.de/ie/blackheart_handsome_devil_combo_bh15_112.htm
the last time i looked at this they said they would have them in on the 5th of december now it's 'on request'...??? not a good sign...reading about a guy on another forum who ordered the epi senior in the U.S. only to be told afterwards that his lead in time on the amp kept moving..... whatever chances of getting the blackheart the epi senior is nowhere to be found with a realistic arrival time....... |
