... there was a guy on the band using a Boss GT 6. His guitar playing was just ok, but the GT 6 sounded terrible! It didnt sound "natural" but very artificial. So I thought "Tks God for my old Boss compact pedals!" and said that to a good friend of mine. Theres NOTHING better than the old Boss compact pedals. I think that I told ya before, I used to have a DF-2 in 84/85 I think tehn later (during the 90s) I tried a lot of things but I learned the lesson: THERES NOTHING BETTER TAHN OLD BOSS PEDALS!

I've noticed that Ebay prices are higher for the older multi effects. I haven't looked inside any of them but possible they're more similar to a bunch of stompboxes hooked up together in the same enclosure. I've been considering whether to buy an ME-6, 8 or 10 just to find out.

Hi Controlfreak
"Today we read from the book of Bob"
And he said, thou shall keepeth the old pedals, for they are the true pedals.

Many false pedals will be cast amoungst thee, & thou shallst have to then seeketh out the true pedals.
Many shall worship the false pedals, & there will be many false pedals to worship.

They will be of sweet voice & sweeter color, but shall only bare brimstone, which they will cast out to chip the color from the true pedals.

In time people will see the false pedals for what they really are, and will then slowly return to the True & Righteous Pedals.

Aboss --- Amen

That's hilarious Dr. Bob. Was that from the NIV or KJV?

Anyway, yeah, my brother has a ME-6. While it's about the only multi-box I would recommend, I'd still rather be stuck w/ my 3 "Desert Island" pedals than that thing. There's just more romance w/ single stompboxes.

Hi diggum12
Excuse me for being naive, I didn't understand the <<NIV or KJV?>>

I just made it up on the spot Diggum12, it probably comes from some dim dark corner of my memories of Sunday school?

I read from the book of Bob, every time someone does or says something stupid, at work.

I have read in these forums, that you are a seeker of True Pedals.
Maybe this is the only place left, to find the seekers of true pedals.

I just repaired an ME-6 & it's not too shabby.
I don't have a list for my 3 Desert Island pedals yet. still collecting them.

Hi silvertone6120
Great? I now have a version of the bible named after me

I missed your (DBV) joke last night, I must have been too tired, maybe my glass eye was playing up.

One of the guys at work, printed off my reading from the Book of Bob
and pinned it on the notice board, I have been getting some flack over it, but all in good humor.

Maybe we can do a reading from other Books in the future?
