Cool pic of John Squire! I've always thought most of his sound was coming from the wah pedal and his overdrives/fuzz boxes. That first part of his pedal chain looks most important--the Fuzz Face, Crybaby, and Tubescreamer. That should get you into "Fool's Gold" territory right there! I wonder if he was using the compressor for a boost or for feedback...?
