I am new to this forum as you can tell. I have a ton of boss pedals. well only 33 to be exact. Just wandering if there was any good settings for a CS-2? I play a Ibanez SZ and have a Marshall JMP 50 half stack. Also, I posted some pedals for sell in the other forums and no one has answered back or showed some interest/ just read. Thank you Borge for starting this website and forum you are THE MAN |

hey there and welcome to the forum (this part of it anyway ) it all depends what kind of sound youre looking for. i like to use with my strats single coils on neck pickup for a nice even snappy sound.
i actually like the "idiot setting" best for the CS-2 which is all 3 knobs cranked, but i might lay off the "level" control if i want to quiet down. |

Ah, the CS-2 - one of my favourite Boss pedals...
I usually run it with all the knobs fairly cranked too - I put it in front of an old 14 pin chip OD-1 and it sounds great. |

Don't you mean attack?
The CS-2 is one of those subtle comps designed to give the dynamic smoothing of compression without "compressor pedal" tone meethinks. From memory the CS-2 maxed is like a dynacomp at 10 oclock

Hey Dr. Bob,
Why don't you cough up some of those CE-2's you are sitting on!!
Then somebody might trade with you for CS-2....

Hi bosshog
No offense taken, I knew you were kidding & I knew what you meant. Maybe I could mod a CE-2 into a CS-2 It would be one neat project.
I just got some new toys, I'll write about them in the New pedals after I've had a bit of a play.

Yeah, sorry i meant Attack for the second knob. I was swapping my lm-2 in and out earlier and got confused
Dr.Bob, you maybe onto something with the ce-2 into a cs-2 if you can intergrate the comp curcuit, you'd have one sweet compressor-chorus in one
