Hi all

My LS-2 has gone microphonic when you touch any of the outside casing and making a slight crackle.... some of the regulars will have read my tale of woe a while back when a rather large PA speaker was pushed over onto my pedalboard at a gig with the LS-2 taking the majority of the damage.....i fixed it(thanks to laurie) but this has started happening recently........drunken punters.......i bet this shit never happens to clapton..........

Hi FRANZONI

Please disassemble her:
Look for hairline cracks in the circuit boards. (bright daylight or halogen desk lamp, behind the PCB is best for this).

Take a lot of pics & let us all see if we can spot anything.

The switch or pot may have gone south.

Also we (Laurie & I), have been finding a lot of cracked & broken Input-Output sockets.
Insert a plug into them, gently jiggle it around a bit to see if it's cracked mechanically.

Regards Bob
