That looks very nice, and the price seems good with all the inflation of DM-2's and CE-2's. It says stereo but it's mono. Snap it up! |

| It looks like a few of his details are off (purple metal box), but if it's the pedal in the picture that price is pretty fair for today's market. I'm sure you can find one for less, but you might have to sacrifice on condition. |

It's a seller's market right now, thanks to a few idiots on ebay. If you're patient and not in a hurry to get one, I'd bet by summer the prices on DM-2s and CE-2s will come back down a little closer to normal(I know..."normal" being a subjective term).
We just have to keep our eyes open for better prices. For example, just last summer I bought a version 1 DM-2(with the MN3005 chip) from kittenface for a grand price of only $160. They're out there...just gotta look for 'em. |

I think the nice thing about the vintage Boss pedal market is that there are enough of most of the pedals out there that they aren't a complete rarity when they come for sale. This allows for the odd pedal fly under the radar and sell for considerably less than market.
I bought my DM-2 in 2000 when they were selling for around $130. If i recall correctly I paid about $65 for it, probably because the picture on the listing was crappy. FWIW it's a version 1, SN dates it to November 1981. |

If you hold out for MN-3005 version, it's worth it. I had the 3205 version, which I paid $200 for it, and couldn't justify having it.
