| OK, the store finally has a Boss AC-3 for me to try out, gonna hit it up today and see if its any better than the AC-2. Will post back.... |

OK, played it with a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe into a Marshall AVT50X, and I was less than impressed. On Standard it just sounded a bit... bright. Enhanced sounded bright with a bit of chorus, Jumbo was off, Piezo gave it a tinny-er sound, but still very weak.
They did not have an AC-2 to compare with, but based on my past experiences I would have to say the AC-3 is worse. I played it for about an hour, and was disappointed to say the least. The LP into the straight clean channel was more than enough for me :/ |
