OK... here are the JH2S pics. Difficult to get a clear shot as there are PCB mounted jacks and pots that are mounted over the board...

The transistors are NTE102A Germanium PNP's (the NPN version is the NTE103A).

Hi Caliban
Thanks -- Great photos.
What type-brand-resolution of camera did you use.
Did you use Pro lighting or just house lighting.
I'm very impressed by their quality.

The Red Classic fuzz is quite a busy little board...

Regards Dr. Bob

I use my Prism Fuzz which I made from the BYOC Large Beaver kit which is based on the triangle-era version of the Bif Muff. Lately I use it after my TS-808 Clone which I just use as sort of a clean boost...

i own a russian black big muff. its a very cool pedal, great for super sustained, smooth soloing.

however, one day when i thought it would be a good idea to add a 9v plug to it (russian ones only take batteries), when soldering the lead to the pcb i think i burnt out and broke a or some bits on the board... so when i put it back together, after giving up and not getting it to run off a power pack, it sound ten times better! if i can figure out what i stuffed i will let you all know 'cause it rips!

Hi Goran, Timbo & Guys

Regarding the:
It sounds better now that I think I blew it/something up"

Muff that Timbo has, we might have to get him to send some closeup pics of his Russian Muff Pi, if he has a digital camera/phone.

And maybe a more detailed description of what & where, he was modifying, on the pedal.

That may give us a clue to the SECRET Blown NOW RIPS Big Muff.

Goran I had the same question, running through my mind, but you seemed to have asked it first.

Maybe Timbo will upload some sound samples?

Timbo lives in the same State QLD of Australia, as ShakeTheDevil.

Regards Dr. Bob
