Does anyone have a complete listing of which pedals were made with the silver/metal screw?

Of course we know that the original three pedals: PH1, OD1 and SP1 had this. I have sevral others with this feature, but I would love to see a verified list if anyone cares to contribute. I'll look through my pedals and see which others I have and start a list too.

Others that come to mind that I either have, or know of for certain are:

GE6
BF2
CE2
DS1
TW1

Some I have heard of, but I'm unsure if they are genuine:
DM2
SD1

If you go to the main site and sort on release date I think all pedals released up to and including 1980 has been available with a silver screw.

This theory holds water if anyone can confirm that the PH-1R exists in a silver screw version.

When I check out my labels, I'll check my PH1r for the screw. I couldn't recall whether it was silver or black, so I didn't list it. I'll check it though.

This thread was inspired by a current listing on eBay for a "silver screw" SD1. I have also seen a listing for a "silver screw" DM2.

I wasn't sure exactly when the screw changed to black.

Oh, my theory breaks then.
I've never seen silver screw versions of any of the 1981 pedals. There are perhaps GE-7s and CS-2s out there too with metal screws.

I'm not sure if the DM2 and SD1 listings are authentic. Anyone can intentionally (or mistakenly, of course!) put a silver screw into any Boss pedal and claim it's a rare pedal.

I actually bought one a while ago (can't remember what it was) that had a silver screw, even though it was clearly from a later era, and put the silver screw into a real silver screw era pedal I already owned, but that had a black screw.

By the way, the HM-2 I have without one orange knob also had a metal screw, but it looked like the plastic screws (but all metal) and couldnt possible be original. I was at first confused and asked Bossarea, but noooooooooooo

Very true. I broke the screw on my LM-2B so that's another one with an unoriginal metal screw.

Another issue is how much we can trust the release dates of the pedals. We already know that there are errors in the Boss book and that's where I've taken the dates from. The DM-2 and SD-1 may very well have been released 1980 which puts them flush with the BF-2 that we know had a metal screw for a short while.

Wow, that's interesting.

Maybe we have confirmation of a new type of thumb screw? What's the serial number of your pedal? The Boss book says that the silver screw was used up to around serial 10000 (would that be 0000?).
