There's no problems using the PSA adaptor with pedals made when the ACA was Boss preferred choice. The difference is just the built in regulating circuit in the PSA that keeps the voltage nice and smooth even when more pedals are added to the chain.
The PSM-5 is more or less deprecated by the LS-2 and NS-2. The TU-2 doesn't have a built in effect loop like the other two though.
I use the TU2 myself. I like to be able to have the tuner right in front of me with the rest of my pedals anyway, so it's just that much better that it can feed power to the rest of my pedal board. No effects loop, but maybe your amp has one? I don't bother with it personally.
