Hi all!
I have a problem. I own a Df-2 and i use it as a booster but i also like the feedback feature. I'm no tech head, so i was wondering if you could create a feedback pedal using what the DF-2 was made out of minus the distortion, so I you could use just the feedback individualy with my other pedals and not the distortion? Could you also make it work without holding the pedal just what you play last comes out until you turn it off?
Regards

The schems are at Effects Heaven. The clipping diodes for the distortion is D2 and D3. its a hard clipping type, but to ground. Desolder and lift on end to take it out of the path. Good luck

Without desolder I guess you can do if you wouldturn down the guitar volume knob but let me join to Christo that to remove these diodes tha resul should be more suitable.
However, see the schematics here:

Hi ssanyee, fuzzy, Christo & guys
Wouldn't that make it more like a boutique Booster, with some overdrive when nearly maxed out?
Interesting topic & possible rainy day mod...

Yeah, I agree, without diodes it can work without clipping, means DF-2 can keep thes signal in originally clean condition. It would be an opporunity to modify it as an 'endless booster'

Maybe it would be called a:
HM-1 or HM-0

Hi
Thanks for the info.
So what your saying is that I could build the wohle pedal again, excluding the diodes It should work cleanly.
HM-1 sounds cool but FB-2 I like better.
This could be a pretty good pedal to make!

Hi Dr. Bob HM-1; HM-0 -> cool
fuzzy I guess it should work in clean without diodes, please try it, just to desolder one legs of the two diodes and see the result.
cheers |

| You could also turn your DS-1 into a treble booster if you take out the clipping diodes. Saw it on Indyguitarist |

If it works for a DS-1, in theory it should do the same on the DF-2 with the added feedback |

Hi Guys
Yeah i want to try it but I like my DF-2 and because its not sold anymore I want to hold it as original. So If i see another DF-2 for cheap price I will buy and try but I just can't do it to my beloved Df-2 even if it is just desoldering.
Thanks |
