Thanks I never had any idea you flew 18,000 Miles, plus the extra 3 hour interstate flight down to Melbourne, & then to meet you in the audience, at the "Music in the Chapel" End of year gig.
I hope my humble solo acoustic set was worth the trip.
....actually.......... we want pics Laurie........hope you guys blew the froth of a couple or at least a few a glasses of wolf blass.........so that Dr Bob's secret aging process for his CE-2's...throw them in a cement mixer for 30 mins then just add guitar and talent....
Nice Feet......my HZD saved my ass last night on a wedding gig...the venue was pretty small for my full rig so i was using my musicman amp and pedalboard..halfway through the Musicman crapped out.....i think the output tranny is shot as it hasn't been 100% since last year after all the valves redplated..anyway i plugged straight into the desk with the pedalboard and left the HZD on and used the Twintube for my overdrive... i was impresssed with the sound for going straight into the board with the strat and the yamaha SG and if i was doing a gig again where the amp was too much i wouldn't hesitate to do it again,it was very handy beng able to ajust the level and add some EQ at my fingertips rather than going to the desk all the time...maybe not what Laurie envisioned but got me out of a serious hole.....
P.S..i think seeing a pic of Dr Bob is a bit like finding out where springfield is in the simpsons...never gonna happen......
Getting pics of Dr.Bob is like getting pics of Big Foot ... He is a similarly shy fellow and the pics are all fuzzy, indistinct, and distant. We'll see what we can do.
