I don't agree. I think the Boss compact pedal has the best design ever (which is partly why I started collecting them  ). |

Looks like I'm going to have to give my vote for the VB-2. The first time I had that shade of beautiful blue in my hands along with it's distinctive knobs ( I once knew a woman... ), I was in heaven. (ignore frown - just appreciate the color of the emoticon) Haven't had that same experience with any other Boss pedal yet. Although that SP-1 Spectrum is pretty fetching - just don't have one yet. |

I agree, it looks like a Mclaren. Thing is, I don't like my pedals to look like an overdesigned race-car. I much rather like the solid, timeless 'working-mans' design of the Boss pedals.
However, as the nicest looking effect pedal, I have to give my vote to the Z-vex Wooly Mammouth fuzz-pedal. Not only does it look nice, it also has the most imaginative name ever given to an effect pedal.
By the way, I absolutely do not like the way Boss is naming its pedals. (I mean CE-2B, CS3, TU-2... can it BE anymore boring) |
