Hello everyone

Has anybody ever used a bass synth on a guitar? im trying to get to weird noises and synth sounds and wondered if it was possible to use a syb5. would it work? i have a line 6 fm4 which is pretty good but i was after somthing a little different.

I have been using the SYB-3 on guitar. It doesn't track as good as it does for bass but I was able to get some really weird sounds out of it. Lots of fun it was too.

I have a SYB-3 and has only used it for guitar. It works fine all the way until you reach the 12th fret on the high E-string (and B-string above the 12th doesn�t track that well).
I think you have to have full control of you picking technique to use it �safely�, if you have that it triggers nicely. A compressor in front helps a lot. For using it in a live situation, you have to have that control I suppose
I like this pedal, very good for noise-making and experimentation. Add delays, choruses, fuzz or whatever and you�re in sonic heaven
