Are all of those made in Japan??

The homepage does not yet give us any info on the different labels and countries. So is it safe to assume they are all Japs?? even the ones produced in '95?

Well mine's MIJ. Its from July 1990. The BF-2B's were also exclusively made in Japan, while BF-2's are MIJ as well as MIT. Maybe they decided to keep the production in japan because the 'brown bass line' would last only a few more years and they were produced in smaller numbers.

So far I've only seen MIJ versions but I have a hunch there might be Taiwan versions out there too.
My hunches has in the past not been 100% reliable...

Bossarea, I had a feeling that it would be a Taiwan pedal!!!

Why?? The box man!! the box and the barcode. I had this feeling all the way down the line, that is why I did ask in the first place, but really, it confirms my believes what we know about boxes and barcodes ect.

Think there will be little to no difference between the Jap and the Taiwan version.

Usually boxes which contain the 5 yr. warranty sticker and a barcode come from the early 90s. You could use this as a rough guideline but you still would need to check as the above example from my previous post shows.

I think the 5 year warranty sticker is still in use in the US. I may be mistaken but when browsing US Ebay auctions I'm almost sure I saw this sticker on DD-6 and RV-5 boxes.

So keep on checking on those boxes as nothing is guaranteed in the world of Bosspedals.
