I don't think the battery clip is original, but is it normal for it to come out that hole? None of my other pedals seem to have a hole here, unless I've missed it. I usually use a powered board so maybe. Anyway, have a look.....

My SG-1 is the same, two holes and battery clip comes out of the hole in the bottom left corner. |

The hole(s) did move about for a while in the early 80s.
I don't think we've ever researched it properly so don't know if all pedals from the same month look the same or not.

I have a couple with the double-hole battery compartment. I wonder if there is some kind of consistency among those..  more useless BOSS trivia to memorize! |

Looks normal to me.
My T-Wah is the same.
And as verivorax mentioned.
Perhaps we should start a thread collecting the InkPad S/N's
of any pedals that have the twin holes?
But I'll leave that up to you guys if you are keen,
& I'll be happy to add any I have in my humble collection.
I guess we should also collect the type of pedal, battery clip colour/type.
