i read an article by stinkfoot about boss aca and psa adapters and he said the older aca pedals would work in a daisy chain off a psa adaptor once there was a psa pedal in the chain i have found this to be true but i noticed my three aca pedals..jap ds1 and a mit od2 and cs3 the led isn,t quite as bright, would it make a huge difference to get an unregulated 12 volt supply for these three pedals as i think thats what the orginal boss supply was.... if you read this stinkfoot i would appreciate any thoughts on this...thanks |

| my answer is no, it would not make a difference, I went out and bought two of the original unregulated 12v ACA-120 adapters and the LED's are just dimmer on some pedals and that's all there is to it. I read some article about that being a common problem on ACA versions of the CS-3, and I'm sure it's the same with the other two you mentioned. But if anyone knows anything else about the certain LED's being dimmer problem I'd be interested to hear it. |

Dingus is bang on.
I have a CE-2 with a slightly DIM LED, when attached to PSA120 via daisy chain, and a PSM-5 AND plugged in only by itself with an ACA adapter. |

Further more, check this anomaly out.
I had my CE-2, and PH-2 ONLY connected to my PSA120 via a BCB3 4 connector daisy chain. WITH ONLY THOSE TWO pedals attached, THE PH-2 LED was only slightly visible, and the CE-2 was barely visible, plugged in a DD-2 in the stray end, and everything lit up just fine. Using the ACA 120 there was no change, the pH-2 and CE-2 would only light up with the DD-2 and PSA. GO FIGURE! |

| that makes a little bit more sense to me, although in most cases if you can't tell a pedal is on or not you shouldn't have pedals in the first place, yes I realize things like an EH-2, NS-2 or CS-x might be hard to hear in general, but hey if you can't hear the difference why use it? a dim light does not bother me one bit |
