What pedals do you really want/need for your collection that you just can't seem to find.
Not the big stuff (SG-1, SP-1, etc - no one can find these), but stupid stuff that really should be at the local pawn store but never seems to be...
DS-2 MIJ CE-2B BF-2B CE-3 MIT HM-2 MIT and quite a few more...

PS-3 is the one I always miss. For a couple of years I couldnt find a TW-1 for a decent price, now I have three (an SS Touch Wah, an SS T-Wah and a black screw T-Wah), as soon as I got the first one the other two just jumped at me. I sure would like a SS SD-1, and a 14 pin OD-1

Yeah, on my list too! I've come across 3 PS-5's for cheap, but not a single PS-3.
Does anyone have a PS-3 they want to trade for a PS-5? |

Yes to the SD-1 SS too!
I have a "surplus" OD-2R... A little beaten up and am waiting for a replacement switch, but PM me if you are interested. |

Why is PS-3 so haqrd to find???? I have seen much more PS-2s, and of course many, many PS-5.
Was the price really high when they where sold new?? That could explain why we seldom see them for sale as very few could afford them, or that its a really good pedal.

| Bossarea's production totals say 30,000 were made, so not that rare. Must be a great pedal! |

CE-2B BF-2B...
Ah yes, 2B or not 2B... I'd like a nice set of the few 'brown' Bass pedals, but they don't seem to crop up boxed as often as I'd like, nor when I have the money. I've never seen a PQ-3B at all, and I was a bit miffed to find a friend had sold a BF-2B a few weeks ago that I didn't know he had. I've got a CE-2B (with the non-flared knobs, boxed) and a GE-7B (came in a GEB-7 box) and they're both good. I just like the style - kind of a 70s Gentlemen's Club look... |

I am quite sure there isn't a sd-1 with a silver screw, i've been looking on ebay and local ad-sites for more than a year and never saw one, i've never even found a picture of one on the web. I also never saw a CE-3 MIT, it's actually the first time i hear about the CE-3 being made in Taiwan!
I do have a ps-2 and a PS-3 but i don't like 'em that much, guess i am just not into pitch shifting.. And Laurie, i do have a MIJ DS-2 and a MIT HM-2, both of them with original box
One of the pedals that i would like to have is a PN-2 but i never seem to find a good priced and boxed one.
One thing i learned is that with patience and money everything is for sale sooner or later! |

It took me almost 9 months to find a mint PH-2. This was surprising as it was in production for a really long time and isn't very sought after. I found nearly all the other OOP pedals on my want list, even the rarer ones in mint MINT condition months before finally getting the PH-2 (except a PN-2, which I have since found and should be receiving tomorrow :).
And, of course, when I received the PH-2 it was mint, but the switch was not working. |

I managed to find a PQ-3B, without the box on eBay. I've never seen one with the box. It's actually a really useable pedal. Even with a muddy Ampeg amp it can get your bass cutting right through the mix... I'm not really what you'd call a collector anymore, I just keep the pedals I actually use now and the PQ-3B is one of them. |

It may not be a "great" pedal in terms of sound quality (it tends to sound very hollow and metallic) but the range of unique and cool effects it can produce make it a must have. It does so much more than the PS-2 and the PS-5 is really a different sort of effect. The expression capabilities make it plausible to use some of the wierder effects live... and if you're into wierd noises you can't go past the PS-3.
Up until recently I had two of them (I've kept a minty one with box for nostalgic reasons). I tend to use my PitchFactor for pitching stuff nowadays because the sound quality is so much better. |

oddly enough, i can't seem to get my hands on even a mid-80's OD-1. I'd take ANY OD-1 and put a socket so I can swap chips out; there's one on ebay like this, but control knobs are missing.
This I think should be aneasy pawnshop find - not seen one ever! |

I agree on the MIJ DS-2.. I'll add the MIJ CS-3 (I have a box but no pedal!) and the GE-6. I'll agree that there are very few PS-3s to be found, in comparison with the PS-2.
OF course, the biggies elude both me and my bank account for now.. |

Yeah... I've only ever seen that one on kijiji that I scooped earlier this year. Guess they just didn't sell that well around here? |
