Good question. I have a DD-20 and it's really good, but I still prefer the overall sound of my MIJ DD-3. I just have to have the DD-20 on my board for tap tempo & quick scrolling.
I've thought about putting the capacitor on my DD-3 to roll off the highs on the repeats, but I just like it so much I haven't felt a huge need for it. |

i have yet to find a better delay than my dd3's ..i use two of them in my board...reliable and sound great..i have a pod pro xt i use in the house for recording and i have to say it has some great analog sims but using it live is a pain....needs a power amp,or to go in an effects loop and some people have remarked the sound when i used it live was a bit plastic so i love my dd3's even if you have to mess with them during the set... thats part of the fun of playing live. .....you never know what might happen next..... |

I fancy a DD-3, but 800ms doesn't seem long enough. That said I cant count it in my head I think I may have to get one, unless I can pick up a PS-2/3 or an RV-3 for a decent price. |

DD-6 for me. Stereo in is brilliant as I can use it to get both stereo chorus and stereo delay. I also really like the warp mode. |

| My fave's the DD-3. I've got an early (mk1) Japanese version which is supposed to be the same as the DD-2 and it sounds great to me. |

| I use a DSD-2 right now for longer delays. I also have a DD-5. At some point I will upgrade to a DD-20 and use that in conjunction with my DM-2 for all the delay sounds I could ever want. |

| My favorite is my DD-5. The TEMPO jack is very useful, kind of ergonomic. I set the tempo with the FS-5U and switch on and off by depressing the DD-5. I don't know why the DD-6 doesn't have that jack, maybe because they would be too many jacks. I would like the BF-3 to had been designed with a EXP/CTL jack too. |

In my case, as I told before, I´m in love with my DM-2A. |

RV-3. Sure, it's not solely a delay pedal, but the delay and reverb mix is a little slice of heaven (atleast for me). |

| I'm the same as Big Boss Man. DSD-2 and DD-5. They complement each other very well, so it's hard to pick a favorite. I also forsee myself owning a DD-20. However, I haven't really messed with analog delays before, but I'm sure I'll eventually get my hands on a DM-2/3. |

DD-20, but it´s not a compact... I traded mine for a DM-3 but will buy one again. DD-6 is a compact and very good. Well, all DD´s are good... |

my PS2! (MIJ)
Of course the pedal is better known for its pitch-shifting capabilities, but the delay is very beautifull and very usefull to trigger in a live situation! The sound is clear but warm too and not too digital-sounding at all, and the feedback is tremendous and can self-oscillate very violently, like my old memory man!! I've tried the DD3, but the feedback isn't that strong at all...and I never manage to make it self-oscillate... And the PS2 can go up to 2s ! |
