| Any of you guys play the ODB-3 with a regular guitar? Anyone got any clips or demos of it? |

Hi bingefeller
I tried out the ODB-3 with my (single coil) Strat, many months ago, While it wasn't a disaster, I wasn't able to find a sound I liked.
Maybe it's different with a Humbucker equipped guitars?
If I recall, It was about the time, I started looking for some ODB-3 Mods. Which I posted the links to, into one of the recent ODB-3 related links.
But I never did any of the mods, I just packed the ODB-3 away for another day.

oh man, i've used the ODB-3 w/ my mim strat for years and i love it...i don't know that you should take my opinion for much cause i don't really like playing conventional guitar or anything like that but, it's loud enough and the dry/wet control makes it a cool boost...the eq can be pretty heavy to so it has tons of bass making it gross and unusable for most stuff but again i like it really bass heavy...if you've ever listened to the Goslings or anything like that you can get that sound with this and a pitch shifter pretty easily...
on hums it's pretty thick and awesome...again, don't really know what sort of sound you're after but, i like it...
as far as demos go i could send you some mp3's of terribly mangled guitar with the ODB-3 being used if you want but idk how much it really reflects the pedal itself... |

| I use a ODB-3 set to clean and add some bass and gain after my Ibanez distortion pedal. It can add an insane/unsafe amount of bass so be careful. As for using as a straight up distortion pedal, it's too much like a DS-1 with the buzz saw sound. |
