I seem to be on a quest to own one of each of the puke-colored overdrives. This is the one I've never tried. The SD-2... how well does it stand up in comparisomn to the others ? Worth collecting? |

i give it a rating of "not bad." its one of those pedals that doesnt sound bad, but not great either. the OD-3 or BD-2 are the best OD in my opinion, but then again, if you are just getting it for the collection, give it a whirl. you might like it |

| Easily my favorite Boss OD/Distortion, and the only one I'm currently using. I had a SD-1, a DS-1 an OD-1 and tried a BD and other assorted models first. After getting the SD-2 I got rid of everything else and stopped looking. The lead option on it is the best sounding distortion I have used and the versitility is great. They are not too expensive right now and hold their value well, so I'd highly recommend picking one up. If you hate it you should get back what you paid on the used market. |

Thats right. I used to think the OD2 was a waste of time, until I put it with a particular guitar and amp combo. Instant sweet tone. It's all about this goes with that, but not that, if you get my drift.
