need a little help with my dd3. (btw- i have no experience with electronics so using meter to check current. etc is foreign to me...)
problem started a couple days ago when i tried dd3 thru my amp's effects/send loop. worked great. next day noticed light on dd3 was dim but still getting a bit of delay. today dd3 light completely dead and no delay (though clean signal passes thru). i tried several working batteries so that is not the issue.
i did open pedal and saw a small brown mark on upper right corner of board. the underside of that "burn" is a small component labeled "r5".
any ideas before i bring this to someone who will charge me more than pedal is worth? thanks much!!

We need to know what version DD-3 you have... what is the serial number? Can you take a pictture of the inside of the pedal?
