Hi everyone,

I'm brand new at this forum.

Just wanted to ask if anyone knows how to connect a Boss GTPRO to a Peavey 6505+. The Peavey uses a DIN 4 or 7 pin plug for the footswitch but the boss has a standard jack input for the amp control. I want to be able to program/store channel switching in some patches of the GTPRO.

Is this possible? Do I need a custom cable?

Hi CYBERSYN

Welcome to the forum.
You are the second person today, to post a question about the GT-Pro.

I 'm unable to help you out on this matter.
Regards Dr. Bob

You would need a custom lead made. But - the 6505+ technically has 3 channels right? The amp control function only works well with 2 channel amps. I had to modify a stereo lead to stop the amp control turning the effects loop on and off on my 5150 (mk1) instead of changing the channel. As the 5150 II/6505+ has clean, crunch, lead and the effects loop all footswitchable, you might have problems getting a GT (8, 10 or Pro) to control the right thing.
