I hate GAS... I stumbled across demos of these on Youtube and now I've gotta have them!
Does anyone own them? Would you care to talk me out of my GAS? |

| You need a DEM. Face the GAS. The only way to dispel it is to give in. |

EH certainly has quite a selection of may I say uniquely implemented boxes of sound. I am VERY interested in them but it would cost me a mint to get into EH the way I want & I simply don't have the room for the investment. So, I do without what I'm sure are some creative times.
Maybe I should invent a magazine rack like is seen at the library or museum where you slide out a shelf. Each shelf would be chock full of pedals, cabled & powered, & switched into the chain at will.
oops, almost forgot to address Laurie.. I ain't talkin' you out of nothing! We expect full reports "STAT" when you go headlong into yet another brand of sonic goodness. Seriously, I'd like to hear some first-hand experience with EH as I hold little. Their videos are adequate though. Maybe I'll go check YouTube.. here's my wallet. |

The electric mistress is a classic and there are some mods out there for to put a 'chorus' switch on it as well so it is easier to dial in and back to flanger...never used a pog...as i'm not a collector the only thing putting me off EH stuff is the size and the amount of real estate it would take up on a pedalboard..i know you can get the new smaller EH stuff but it's not really the same classic vibe.....the memoryman is a real classic...... |

I own the POG, not the micro. It is by far the coolest octaving device I've EVER PLAYED. Keep your eyes peeled & patient Laurie. I picked mine up for $180 in like-new condition.

Wow, thats kind of like my bedroom save for the full shelves. I thought that was your's for a second.. that IS a great pic but I see issues with that many pedals. Maybe each one is a its own loop heh |

Back on topic... I picked up an ex-rental DEM from the local muwsic store today. NICE. What I was hoping for and more... seems to have a shimmer the Boss flangers lack.

Sorry to say, that's about what my rig might look like if I had the space. Lose the Peaveys & add Marshalls & that's about it. I like the "climb the walls" aspect.

Spent the evening sorting out the DEM. Did the true-bypass mod, added an LED, and increased the gain a fraction so the level didn't fall when the effect is engaged.
Liked it before, like it a lot more now...
PS: the thing comes with a 3PDT stomp switch with only one of the 3 poles actually used. Just needed to wire the rest of the switch and viola - true bypass and LED switching. Wonder why they don't do that at the factory? Maybe the extra labout cost makes the pedal too expensive?
