| I'm talking about the discontinued Roland Blues Cube amp (not the current Cube model). The Blues Cube gets rave reviews. How do they really compare to a tube amp? Let's say something like a Peavey Classic 30. There is a 3x10 BC-60 for sale locally for $400 USD. Might have to pull the trigger on it. |

I misread the title initially and thought,"Roland makes a Blues Clues Amp"???? Can't expand upon your question though. Sorry bro... |

Like you I've heard good things. IIRC it implements Roland's trans-tube technology to simulate a tube amp response. This may have been the precursor to the Dyna-Touch technology, I'm not sure. Anyway, best let your own ears decide. I don't think they were ever available in Australia |

Hi RRV-10, Big Boss Man & Guys There was a Blues Cube 30 or 60 (yes the old type) on EvilBay Aust recently, I think.
I saw a demo of these many years ago at a Brash's Music store (now gone) on the Napean Hwy near Melbourne, Australia.
And they did sound great in he hands of the demonstrator. But it would have to have been over 10 years ago, there was no hands on, unless you purchased one.
Regards Dr. Bob
PS- I think I have the advert in an old Roland-Boss Glossy, for the Blues Cube & lots of other stuff, if I find it, I'll try to get a scan of it.
