is this high or what?

i know it is rare, but does some of thes pedals go for prices like this?

Yes and even more, Killer-Kaz an ebay pedal dealer from Jampan has been asking up to $999.00us for these.
usually with box & Manual though.

If he actually sells any I can't say.
I have seen original TS808 TubeScreamers with asking prices of $999.99us as well.
