As of late I have been getting into Tom Petty, the Heartbreakers, and the Wilburys.

And a special thanks to my three year old daughter who has, in a very three year old way, only requested to hear John Lennon and the Beatles for the past few months. Thankfully leading me to be back into all that again. <-those are for her.

I really discovered the Neurotic Outsiders only selftitled album again, really cool rocksongs with a punkish flavour but so much more mature than what Steve Jones did in his Sex Pistol youth.
For those of you who don't know, NO was a sideproject back in '96 consisting of Steve Jones on guitar, GN'Rs Duff Mckagan on Guitar, GN'Rs Matt Sorum on drums and DuranDurans Johnny Taylor on bass.
There's some cool stuff over on youtube, check it out:

Ive been listening a lot to Giant Sand lately, especially their latest Glum. Really good stuff!
Hazmat Modine is another band that I listened to a lot, from New York and plays everything from Dixieland to delta blues, with two harmonicas fronting odd bass ( a tuba). Very good and odd interpretations of the traditional music.
Also listened a lot on Nomads, a Swedish garage band of international fame, their 80 s recordings are a hell of primitive rock.

Blimey - i didn't see it till i was in my mid twenties. Mind you it was banned in the UK, so i had to get an NTSC copy and convert it. The quality was shambolic.

Right, off for some of the old 'in out in out'.
