Me too, but for the same amount of money I would probably buy a Fender instead
And, sure, this is an expensive guitar even assuming it�s a really good one. But the market could be old hippies (and now lawers) born in 1952, with much money and lust for something they dreamt of since the 1960�s.

if you want to see negativity on this topic, just read the comments on Gibson website.

The fact of the matter is that, Gibson is trying to grow sales by painstakingly replicating cherished instruments from their past or those that are daily players by famous guitartists. while a novelty at best, and certainly some creative marketing, we all know it doesn't compare to actually finding one or having a chance to play one from a vintage guitar shop etc. etc.

No point bitching about the price or the features as like it was pointed out, you got 15 grand and want to blow it on a guitar, goforit.

I humbly retract my bitch about the trapeze bridge - (crappy as it was), but it indeed was how it came, and was part of the early development of instruments that changed the world forever.
