I plan on getting my DS-1 modded first. I haer good things about Keeley's mod for it, is all the hype aout it true? Boss Freak! on a scale of 1-10 what do you rate it?

If the stock DS1 is, let's say a "5"

The Keeley Ultra DS1 is a "9" (eben though it probably "goes to eleven")

Well that settles it! I'm sending my DS-1 to Keeley for the ultra mod. maybe we should have a keeley topic page? just a thought.

imo the taiwan pedals"some" are fantastic! my ps5 for example. or my hr-2 harmonist.

a little info on robert keeley. he is the best pedal modder iin the world! he also lives about thirty miles from me here in oklahoma. i have been to his home several times. very pro operation for real! he has modded around 13 pedals for me. i also collect/use old ibanez pedals. his customer service is perfect.


maybe i can get him to join here? can we post pics?

Great if you can get Robert Keeley to join. I'm sure he's got a wealth of information to share.

There isn't a way to post pics right now. I planned to install some additions to the forum software but it's too hot right now. I've decided to prioritise eating icecream until the temprature drops.

If it's hot in the UK, than hope is on the way. it should cool off in a couple of days. the temp here just dropped, so you should get some releaf in about two days. I do agree that getting robert Keeley on the forum is a great idea.

Hey, if people in the UK get to complain about the summer heat, do I get to complain about how COLD it's getting in Phoenix in November? I might have to put on a jacket soon!
