I've also wondered about this. Could you plug the expression pedal into an A/B box, then run the A and B out to the effects to be controlled? The A/B box could be used to switch the expression pedal between effects.
I think this is not possible. If the expression pedal is a variable resistor, then you will be connecting the circuits of the two FX pedals together electrically at the "top" and "bottom" of the variable resistor. I'd be very careful with doing that... DC bias may be upset, also feedback would probably be an issue.
If you had a "stereo" expression pedal - a dual potentiometer actuated by the expression pedal action - then it would be possible to wire it so that one potentiometer is connected to one FX pedal, and the the other potentiometer is connected to the other FX pedal. This would keep the FX pedals electrically isolated.
I think you'd need to swap the pot at the top of the pic (the one actually turned by the pedal) to a dual pot. If you did that, and duplicated the rest of the circuit and connectors you would be in business.... It would actually work pretty well with this pedal I think.
