Hi KurtOchka & Guys
I have moved this from the other "Pedal Internals" thread,
to free that thread up, it's really only meant for pictures.
The original msg. has not been deleted.

No am only a photo. Is there a question there is a photo of Rdd-20 or as he sounds by comparison to Dd3,4,5,6,...? Very thankful. I am sorry for errors in English.

There is a picture of the RDD-20 Microrack Series, Digital Delay
in the non-Forum part of Bossarea.com.
I don't know if there are any comparison demo audio files?

I haven't done an A/B test, but the RDD-20 should be very similar to the early DD-3 pedals sound-wise, just more knobs/tweakability. and I think we concluded a while back that the RDD-10 was like the DD-2 -- both only changed their names (to the RDD-20 and DD-3, respectively) due to price drops in one of the key chips used to make them.

The RDD-20 has a maximum delay time of 400ms, shorter than the DD compacts. But it does have a modulation control, so you can create anything from a light chorus to a sloppy, drunken wobble. I'm loving mine. Get one if you see one.

As for quality, I think it's 12 bit - has the slight roughness of old delays, which adds a nice finish in my opinion. I like a textured delay.

When I get round to it, I'll take some internal photos and we can see what chip is in there.

Here's the main IC. If you compare it to the interior shot of the early DD-3 on page 1 of the Internals thread, I think it's the same... perhaps someone can confirm this.
