What r the components that i need to change in the GE7 to change the bands frequency?I thought of reduce the band to 5.Is it possible to do this mod?From 100hz change to 80hz..Wat r the appropriate resistor/caps for this?

Are you saying that you want to change the number of bands from seven to five? Why would you want less bands? That doesn't really make sense. Not only that, you would have to change the width of each band so that you don't get unnatural peaks
Even if you wanted to do that, I would reccomend getting a GE-6 because my guess is that it would be cheaper, most people don't want a 6-band equalizer when the GE-7 has the same exact bands plus another.
I suspect that Eric has something else he wants to use the last two sliders for. It is possible to do this. Possibly by only changing the capacitor and resistor values in the network around IC1, IC2 and IC3. You will however need to do the math to get the correct values and that's beyond me.
