YES!!! I used to have that URL bookmarked, but I haven't been able to find it again for quite a while since I changed computers. Nice to see it's still up. Thanks for posting the link.

Thinking about when the old type "OD-1" logo changed I just saw an OD-1 on Ebay with what I figured is a late serial for that type...123900.
Perhaps the change came late in the production?
Does anyone have an OD-1 with the old type logo with a serial more recent than the one on this one?

i seem to have OD-1 8200 with the chip of 3403ADB but black switch.
so i guess i have OD-1B; not sure why the switch is not clear; maybe an odd one; sounds sweet though!

WOW that's some very useful information!!!

I'll have to go home tonight have have a look at my OD-1s. I think both of mine are 'E' versions but I would live to know what the earlier OD-1 sound like!

Where do the " Short Dash " and " Long Dash " logos fit in the
chronology of the OD-1 ?

Most pedals made before 1982 had the long dash which was really just a small font variation. The width of the font stroke is also a little fatter on the later font. As a general rule, pedals with serial number lower than 13xx00 will have the older font, thus the long dash.
