Does anyone of you know if this is possible? I want to use two amps, a guitar and a baritone guitar on stage. The thing is, when I play the baritone I want to be able to switch between a guitar amp and a bass amp. But I also want to play the guitar through the same guitar guitar amp without having to change cables. I thought the LS-2 might do the trick. Do you think this would work? And would it be possible to play through two amps at once?

Plug the Baritone into the input, and the guitar into the return of the B loop. Connect the output jack to the guitar amp, and connect the A loop send to the bass amp. Set the LS-2 to A->B->bypass mode.

- Bypass = sends baritone to guitar amp
- loop A = sends baritone to bass amp
- loop B = sends guitar to guitar amp

If your bass amp has dual inputs, you can connect the A loop send to the second input of the bass amp. If you switch to A+B->bypass mode, this will toggle between [baritone->bass amp] and [baritone-> bass amp + guitar amp]. However, you will not be able to incorporate the guitar into this switching set-up, and you may well get volume discrepancy issues as the two inputs on most dual-input bass amps have different levels to allow for active or passive guitars.

Unfortunatley the LS-2 manual doesn't display sample settings.
The Boss book has a few set up options

OK, but none of the suggested set-ups in the Boss book do what Basstardino wants to do.

Thanks for your advice! Looks like playing two amps at once would be a bit difficult. But maybe I can use some stereo pedal for that. Or another LS-2 I'm glad at least the first part of my question seems to be possible. I think I'll just get an LS-2 for that purpose.

True, but since you had answered basstardino's original question, I was only adding a few visual setups. The set up could be done if you use the first half of example 4 and the latter half of example 5.
I'll probably write down your example too, 'pescially if i get a second amp.
