This one says serial number 8800 -- isn't this one supposed to have a silver screw?

This one says serial number 0400 -- there's apparently a gap between 0300 and 0500 in the gallery:

It should most definitely have a silver screw.
The other one with serial 0400 could have an original black screw but would be of the first.

It also looks like the battery cable and connector has been replaced on the #8800 pedal.

Just found this thread. Duplicated serial numbers ?!?!?!? I have had
my OD-1 since 1982. Anybody win the one listed as serial number 0400 ? Are there other duplicate numbers ?

The 4 digit serial numbers aren't really serial numbers so there will be lots of pedals with the same serial numbers. The numbers are really month numbers starting at 6400 and ending at 0500 when Boss introduced 6 digit serial numbers instead.

As a shopper it shouldn't really matter if it has the Silver Screw. Most people aren't trying to fool anyone...it is just an old pedal. BTW, those are good prices for the OD-1....
