I play a 72 telecaster deluxe in WALNUT which is a beauty and the pickups are great, tele twang when clean, but gives a great sound distorted. |

Thanks everyone! Your help is much apreciated.
Zerskies, I tried to say something on the matter yesterday but couldn't come with a name or an adjective. I think we play obscure pop-rock, but very eclectical since we have an old school guitarist with a Richenbaker and a semi-hollow Telecaster and old fellow TS-9, DD-3 lying at his feet (no distortion); a bass player who likes his hollow Ibanez without effects, etc.
We have 3 versions in our setlist and they are very different to each other: every breath you take (Police), Otherside (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and In your room (Depeche Mode), so I don't think it will tell you our style.
I tried the Ibanez RG470 BP and it sounded fabulous. Then the salesman gave me a bright Tele with a mirrored pickguard but it weighted a ton in comparison and I didn't like the feeling at all. I'm not old school and my main thing are delays, reverb and things like that, very atmospherical (maybe in the style of Warren Cuccurullo, I don't know) but I do a lot of fifhts as I said before, so this guitar suited me fine and bought it straight away. It's green-gray with a bright feeling depending on the light.
She's beautiful... |

Can't go wrong if it feels great, sounds great, and looks awesome!
It's the old saying that the instrument "speaks to you". When you hold the right one in your hands, you just "know".

I did! ;)
In fact, I feel a bit guilty because I have some kind of feeling towards my new guitar... never felt it before. I hope my girlfriend doesn't get jealous or something, but maybe she should.
I'll take a picture and upload it at the end of the week, as I'll be on holiday. |

| Great job, there's nothing better than "feeling" the guitar, and knowing that it's the one. |
