Yeah, they started selling instruments a couple years ago...I thought it was just going to be starter packs, but they do carry some nice high-end Fenders and Gibsons...

I couldn't believe this i was like wow they got musical instruments. I was figuring they would have a ton of starter packs but the i see real gibsons, fender's and martins. I was like WOW and they had a good setup for boss as well,it also had an acoustic room

I saw an ad tonight for DJ Hero. I'm guessing that's Guitar Hero for DJs. THAT should be really annoying.

I cringe a little seeing stores like this selling gear... good and bad can come from it, but I see a lot of possible bad when the big box stores selling gear. But I won't get started on that.

Personally I don't have an issue with it. It's a free market.
I couldn't care less where I buy my gear from... be it a small independant shop or large department store. I just want the best price. If they sell any items I want cheaper than anywhere else then I'll buy from them.

I have only seen some pedals (super cheap pedals... AKA Noisy garbage) and some squires for sale... Although I am a very big fan of supporting my local guitar stores, there is the possibility of reaching a whole new group of people who would not go into a local guitar store... They could be in for a computer, pick up a guitar instead, and the rest is history Then once improved would very likely end up at the local store for the superb stuff (Because nobody wants to say they got their axe from B^2 )
I call this my dream scenario, hope that's how it works out.... |
