Hey,
I am looking to add a DD-2 to my collection and I am wondering if they all use the same large chip across the entire board? If not what differences are there? Thanks for the help.

Really. I always get "The Page Cannot Be Displayed" now. It used to work for me, though.
I don't think I've tried it from work. Hmmm. |

Page seems to work fine... and to answer the original question: yes, all the DD-2's had the large delay chip.

| Since there are DD-3s with the "big chip", and the DD-3 was released after the DD-2, I think it's a safe assumption to make. In a related question, are all DSD-3's built on the big chip? I opened mine up out of curiosity and it was, and from memory it was an 88 build. |
