Hello everyone,
First let me apologize: I tried to do a forum search on the RV-2 but the search function does not appear to be working right.
So I'd like to ask about the RV-2: I just got one and like it. It's a 1988 MIJ and sounds very good. How does it rate compared to RV-3 and other RV models?
Thanks
Tony

Sorry about the search functionality. I disabled it on purpose yesterday as it made the forum hang for everyone else. The best way to search is to use google and add site:bossarea.com at the end of your search.

I really like the RV-2. It was on my pedal board for a very long time. Lately I've replaced it with the RV-3 which I find a bit cleaner and more pronounced. That's not always a good thing so it all comes down to personal taste.

Thanks for the reply. I like the sound of the RV-2, it's quite warm actually. I don't like the Delay function that much, but that's OK because I got a DM-3 for that.
In a way, it's kind of cool to have a pedal that's 20 years old and still functions perfectly :)

Try the Delay function in a two-amp set-up, as the pedal functions as a panning pedal. Many people see to overlook this function. You may like what you hear!!
