Thanks. 1998 Thumb BO with Wenge neck. I've had it for 9 years.
My rack is heavier than my cab . When I can afford it I'll be getting a lighter power amp and a smaller rack. Maybe help take care of those empty holes. 4U rack with 2U power-amp 1U preamp and 1U power-conditioner. To be fair the speaker cab only weighs about 56 lbs.
Love the SVT-IIp. It has some old Mullard 12ax7s in it. My former guitarist has it. He was trying to repair it but had no luck. I still haven't gotten it back from him as it got packed away in a move. I'm actually in touch with him to mod my SD-2 so I'll ask him if he ever dug it out. It'd be worth it just to get them tubes back.
As for the 362, I never really found a use for Sonic Maximizers as you can see I had one briefly on my pedal board. Here is a picture in case you missed it in the pedal board thread. (Amp Thread, Sorry, Couldn't resist. )
The 362 has some scratchy pots, so I gave it to my current guitarist. He found a setting and left it there and loves it. I told him he can probably have those pots cleaned, or pick up a newer one used for pretty cheap. |

It's not home yet, but I have on hold a 1972 Traynor YBA-1A Mark II on hold.. very clean, with Telefunken tubes too. Do I need 90 watts? NO! But do I want it? YES! It's a bass head, but is probably more widely used for guitar. It looks like this, lacking the logo and all. Mine's a little cleaner (big pic, so just a link):

These are my main amps.

The large one is a Laney VA100 Reverb from 1978. Only a few hundreds of these were made. (If someone has info about this amp, tell me!) I made the small one last year (some schoolproject). It's a 1.5W tube amp with just a volumeknob and a distortion switch (which reduces the power and increases the gain). |

Wot no pictures of classic Eighties Transistor amps?

And a peculiar late-70's Peavey 2x12" valve/tranny hybrid with a wicked valve tremelo circuit:

It looks like you don't use that Peavey too often
By the way, how good is that Tiny Terror? I've heard that it's a 'new classic'. Is it really that good? |

Welcome to Bossarea Witloofboer!
I bought the Studio Pro my 1st year in college (circa 1983) & I loved it. Now, I run my Moog theremin through it which I don't play that often, hence its buried behind the mixer stand.
The Tiny Terror is quite awesome. Classic british high-gain tone in a minor wattage config. It doesn't do cleans very well but I have my Blackheart 5W Little Giant for that.
My new Egnater Rebel-20 is my most versatile tube-amp. It does cleans & grit equally well.. & with the variable voicing (6V6s & EL84s) & variable wattage, its tonality is a great value to consider! |

Looks nice. Can you clearly hear the difference between the EL84's and the 6V6's? |

YEAH baby! That's the Renown on the right, right?
I sure like Peavey's older styling as opposed to todays. |

Yep! The other one is a Bandit. They are both Supersats, which is a much nicer distortion than the later Trans-sat effort IMHO. Clear as a bell and loud as hell. |
