I quite fancy adding a PW-2, and an XT-2 to my set up. Problem is, as a newbie, I have no idea how much I should be paying for these.
How much should you splash out on each of these in the following conditions?
Boxed - Mint
Unboxed - Mint
Unboxed - Used
Unboxed - Battered
Maybe we could make this thread out as a guide to how much you should be paying for many of the other rarer pedals? (If a topic like this already exists, my apologies! Oh, and can you show me where it is!!  ) |

Prepal is a bit outdated and reflects US prices more than European. I think it's better to search Ebay for completed auctions.
A normal price for a good condition PW-2 or XT-2 is about 40 quid. Boxed or unboxed doesn't seem to play much difference for these. |

Just checked what I paid for mine too (all off ebay, within the past 18 months I guess)..each of them includes postage of around �5:-
PW-2 (got 2 of those - paid �63 boxed and �54 unboxed)
XT-2 boxed & paid �47
Probably shelled out too much for all of them but I was on a mad quest to get hold of all the Boss Distortion & OD pedals at that time - I'm a seriously bad example of GAS! 
From what I've seen recently I think bossarea has got it spot-on for the going rate though.

| I found these two in a small shop here in sweden this summer, new and with boxes. Have laid there since they where new, and the owner thought that they still was in production, so I used that as a argument that they were old and gave them a deal - 120 euro for both. They took it and I was happy. My problem is that I always throw the box away... But on the other hand, I buy the stuff of Boss to use it as well as collect, so for me personally it really doesn�t matter. I have found out that sweden is quite expensive on the used market, but this was what I gave for two new ones. |

| paid $70 for a brand new boxed PW-2 and $40 for a brand new boxed XT-2. these are both not your typical distortion pedals but i like them both because they arent just the same old sounds. |
