I have a 2x 30 watt stereo set which I want to use in the bathroom on two built in (60/180 watt car)speakers. Problem is the stereo is 8 ohm and the speakers are 4 ohm. Is this any problem ?

Yeah... might be. Most SS stereo stuff is OK at 4 Ohms, but if you push the volume up it can toast the output stage of the amp. 4 Ohm allows twice as much current to flow as 8 Ohm, so at full volume the amp is working twice as hard which is usually a problem.

If it was mine I'd do it, but never turn it up past about 4 or 5 on the dial.
