Has anyone seen the Dan-Electro, Fender, Marhall Mini-Amps. they run from USD$19.99 to $59.99 depending on which one you get. One of the Dan-Electro mini-amps has a built in reverb and slap-back delay, Most have built in over-drive. Lastly they only have one control for tone, no treble, mids, or high control - just a "tone" control. They run on 1 or 2 AA batteries. Some might have a headphone jack. Has anyone bought one or purchased one?

I have the Marshall with one speaker, it sounds really bad but looks great.

The smallest amp Ive tried that also sounds really, really good is the Roland Micro Cube.

I've tried a ton of these (working music retail).. and most do sound pretty bad. The MS-4 marshall Full Stack has a little more control over the tone, and it's 4w.

The Fenders I find a little overpriced, but they're well styled.. (leather handle and real tweed! ). They come blister-packed sometimes so you can't try it without fully opening the package.

The Danelectro Hodad is what ovrdrv123 mentioned (I think), and it sounded okay for what it was.

The best, I think, is the Smokey pocket amp. You can drive a 4x12 with it. Plus, they come in recycled old cigarette packs. http://www.smokeyamps.com/

If you can sacrifice the super-minis, the Pignose 7-100 or the Vox DA5 are great options.

I am in no way affiliated with these brands! But I wouldn't turn down some swag either

I have the "blackface" Fender Mini-Twin... it's made of plastic and not much more than a toy, but it looks good and sounds all right.
