Stingray's are very cool, although I'd prefer the 4-string version.
Just depends on what style of music you play and what the guitars are tuned to. Another factor to consider if your a large guy, like me, a 4 string looks like a ukulele so a 5 string helps a little in that department. Plus its worth having a 5 just to see the confused look on bandmates faces when they are expecting D and you hit an open B instead.
