I've noticed it's been going around lately.
I seem to have caught it.

Welcome to the club! Is that a Squier Affinity Tele?
I would like to personally designate myself as the chairman of the BossArea.com chapter of Tele-Holics anonymous. I'm jack, and I'm a Tele-Holic. |

I love in pictures like these, people always try and "accidentally" leave things lying around to make themselves look cool, boss pedals, stratocaster, nice amp, hats off to you sir I think next picture I upload I will just put my dirty laundry and some dolly parton records in the background Also I just noticed that is a serious amount of overdrive lined up there. Is that like OD-1/2/3, sd-1, dynadrive and ds-1 or something? |

Yup and that's only half the line up. There is also a FZ-2, HM-2, MT-2, XT-2, PW-2, SD-2, and a DF-2. I like my options. |

Love Tele's! Just got this a couple months ago and I couldn't be happier. Only problem is I sold my other tele to help fund it and now I want another!

Here is my Tele (along with my others). It is a Squire Standard Tele with a Seymour Duncan HotRails (with push/pull pot) in the bridge.

Then I guess I shouldn't point out that Squiers are great starter Teles, and great deals can always be found on Squiers if you are patient enough... |

Solid point. Even the MIM Fender Tele's are great guitars for the money, and they go pretty cheap on the used market. The latest line of the Squier Teles (the thinline, the different '72 variants, etc) really look good though. |

good mention on the squiers, i was actually looking to pick one up cuz i'm achin' to try out a strat. i'll probably just wait until i can get another HW1 though, those are really solid made guitars.
don't know if you guys like alice in chains, but i uploaded my first video on youtube yesterday of me jamming along on my tele with the rythym arrangement. check it out if you have time and let me know what you think!

Actually on the first couple of AIC albums Jerry Cantrell used the Tele bodied G&L (ASAT) along with the the G&L Strat model too. Of course these were modded a bit with either Kahler or Floyd Rose Trems and Humbucker in the bridge... |

got this jap silver series squier tele for 200 euro a few years ago...seemingly(i didn't know it at the time i just thought it was a great playing guitar)they are fairly well regarded by people as it was a return by fender to japanese manufacturing after a brief spell in korea in the late 80's/early 90's....i think fender spoiled a lot of people with the quality of the JV squiers in the early 80's and i've seen them going for 600/700 euro secondhand in ireland these days.....i've heard some of the chinese and mexican stuff is very good too..i took the hotrails out of trhe bridge and put the original squier bridge pickup back in last week for that classic tele 'bite'..... |

| Agreed FRANZ, those MIJ squires are nice. My strat is an early eighties MIJ. And I really like it a lot. |
