So i decided to make my board road worthy. just got to buy a few pedals to fit the spaces i made
This is my board before i moddified it.

Firstly i carpeted the board.

My personal velcro style.

The right side of the pedalboard.

The left side (still busy acquiring pedals to complete the board)

The Power Unit.

The whole board.

A little review on core X2 cables. these cables are great! There easy to cut and screw, you can screw it in all the way with no problems unlike George L's. the Cables are flexible enough, definately more flexible than the Planet waves series but obviously not as flexible as the George L's series.
I for the empty distortion spots i'm thinking of getting an MXR GT OD and an MXR Hendrix Clasic Fuzz. the Metal Muff nano is also an option (and the list goes on and on)
the spot after the MXR 10 band EQ is most likly going to fit a EVH Phase 90. i might put that in the effects loop though so i don't know what to put in that spot any suggestions would be nice. (EH-2 would be nice if there were Any around)
Nosi
P.S. the pictures are huge photobucket already resized them though. ill see if i can make them even smaller |

I knew somebody was going to notice that haha. I started the project on the weekend of valentines day so i left the packaging of the rose my girlfriend gave me lying around.
The board looks a little funny with those empty spaces in it. its so hard resistying myself from filling them with something |

to kelmaur:
I actualy use the carpet for the pedals with velcro to stick onto. The carpet i found has a rather thick and heavy rubber base so something thinner and light would ofcourse save weight.
Kelmaur had an interesting question, whether the pedals would stay on the board if you turned it upside down. Well the pedals do more than just that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvYn9v8t9e4Check the video. I tried the youtube audio swap function but they don't let you chose your own song and the best they got is drowning pool
Mdsjohnson, the original board i started with, i bought. it was about 60 Euro's which comes with a hard case and plenty velcro. The idea is that you stick the two sides of velcro on the two sides. So the hooks on the pedals. and the loops on the board. But us pedal freaks change our boards around too much so we would have to paste the whole board full with strips of looped velcro. therefore i decided to put a carpet on it instead. I will take a picture of the box very soon. |

Anybody want to start a competition? "who's pedalboard can last the heaviest upside down earthquake?"
We should allow HTML and java posts so we can have embedded youtube video player etc. |

Haha, thats why i did it above my bed I'm so supprised the MXR-108 held on because the velcro isn't exactly between the pedal and the board. on the MXR-108 i have a mixture of the velcro and rubber allowing it to be kept on a board without falling apparently and allowing it to be on a normal floor without slipping. |

The body is in the picture too, its cammouflaged haha. its in the center bottom of the picture. It's in the proccess of being refinished, I got myself sanding the body for about 1-2 hours a day.
Ill post a picture of my JS1000BTB later today. |
