| i have the dd-2, and dd-6, the dd-2 def has more of an analog characteristic, if it makes any sense the dd-2 sounds bolder, and more there? as opposed to the dd-6 sounding a little less present (not that you have to struggle to hear it), although dd-6 warp mode does rule, and the 6 has reverse. also the 2 stops effecting once disengaged, and the 6 carries over once turned off. hope this was helpful, i just woke up, and this could be mindless chatter. |

my dd7 is very cool, but i admit it is noisy with the level above 75%; and this independently from the chosen power supply.
Can others confirm this?

| Does it depends on pickups on the guitar (single coil or humbucker?) |

There is a DD-3 on craigslist local to me. What makes them so baddass? Not sure if the DD-3 is a long chip or not. |

| don't get a dd-6 unless you can score a really good deal on one. go for the dd-7 it is the MUCH better option. all boss delays produce white noise when engaged with the effect level much higher than 50%, that's the nature of the beast. but the noise issue with dd-7 is one of constant noise, on or off. also, it seems to be really really rare and only found on harmony-central reviews! |

haha there's always complaints on HC I use my DD-6 a lot the noise is rather irrelevant if you use it after distortions. If your looking for more complex ones then a DD-20 is great you can set the tempo exactly. Even better would be the Eventide. I'm also really hyped about the Satriani TimeMachine, then again i'm gunna have all the Vox Satch pedals anyway
Too bad Boss didn't bring anything good out this year our i could have got my hands on it already
Just connect all three pedals put them in approximately the same settings and then close your eyes and get the shop keeper to turn each one on one by one. then see which you like most. |

| I had a DD-5 and it was amazing! People here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil love the DMs, DD-5 but we all want a DD-20. But I never tried it. |

I got the DD-5 and the tap function is priceless at times. Its got a reverse mode too, or should i say "an attempt" to reverse, frankly its quite lame, makes me think that there migth be something wrong with my ex. Otherwise the pedal is great and you cant go wrong with it.
finally friday!!!!!!! |

Here's another DD-7 without any noise.
If you choosing between the DD-6 and DD-7, I'd go with the DD-7 just because when I tried the DD-6 It was more difficult to get the sound I wanted. They both seem to be around the same price, I think you'll get more for your money with the DD-7. |

hello,
i owned a line 6 rack, the green thing with the flashing lights. gone.( and quickly) i owned a line 6 dl4 delay pedal. awful thing.gone. i owned a dd5. I just traded it for a radio. i just sold my ps3.( dd5 ish delay) i for years have owned a dd2. i like that pedal.-it hisses but the delay is lo fi.
i own 1. a yamaha e1005 desktop analog delay
2. an ad80 ibanez (nutnumbingly good delay)
3. a short logo dm 2 boss
4. a sad 1 pedal
5. a dd2 boss
the newer digital delays i found to be awful, awful things. all of em. that hiss is appalling. i was in a studio recently and the kid had bought himself a dd7. it was actually quiet, but the repeats..they were ice cold and im talking dry ice.

| Regarding the DD-2/3, can you split the signal and run two separate cables out and into two amps for a stereo effect, ala a stereo chorus? |
