A friend of mine was modding his MD-2 and some wires came off. It's two wires (a black and white wire) in gray insulation in the picture below. Not the skinny gray one. One wire went to the input sleeve and not sure where the other wire went to. Does anyone have one they can crack open and take a look? It looks like he soldered both wires to the input sleeve but that doesn't seem right.
Thank you for adding the image Dr. Bob. From some more pictures he sent I can tell the black wire is ground and goes to the sleeve. I just can't tell where white wire goes. It can't be too far from the jack if not on the jack.
